ABOUT PHILHOST
Philippine Hospitality on Sustainable Tourism (PHILHOST) is the Philippines’ premier forum dedicated to advancing sustainable practices within the hospitality and tourism industry. We are committed to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and driving tangible action to ensure the long-term viability of our nation’s tourism sector.
Since our inception in 2019, PHILHOST has evolved into a vital platform for stakeholders across the hospitality ecosystem. Initially, we focused on analyzing destination challenges and opportunities, featuring workshops and expert panels covering key Philippine destinations like Cebu, Subic Bay, Palawan, Bohol, and Boracay. In 2023, we solidified our role as the only Philippine event synergizing global expertise with local insights, addressing critical issues like plastic reduction, ESG compliance, and destination resiliency. Building on this momentum, 2024 witnessed the launch of the WTTC’s Hotel Sustainability Basics in the Philippines, a pivotal step in democratizing sustainable practices for all industry players. Each year, we’ve strengthened our commitment to practical solutions and collective action.
